Our Optional Service Cover (OSC) covers the cost of repairs in the unlikely event of one of your purchases breaking down unexpectedly.

• Response within 72 hours
• If extensive repairs are needed we can provide loaner replacements in some cases
• Return your product at any time, for whatever reason, and pay nothing more.
• Re-claim your product (or a replacement of equivalent age and specs) up to 12 months after return and pick up from where your payments left off.

In addition to ensuring you don’t have to foot the bill for expensive repairs, Optional Service Cover can give you additional peace of mind if you’re worried about ever missing a payment. Just return your item to us and re-collect it when you can afford to continue.

Damage Liability Cover

If you don’t already have a home contents insurance policy or any alternative insurance covering hire purchase goods, BrightHouse can provide Damage Liability Cover to ensure that you don’t need to continue paying for your product if it is damaged or stolen*.

Hot on the heels of our grand opening in Caerphilly, South Wales in January, we’ve launched an amazing four new stores in the past three months, with even more on the way very soon!

If you’re a resident of Alfreton, Arbroath, Musselburgh, or Newbury you can now find a brand new BrightHouse store in your local shopping district. The grand openings of these stores featured the usual BrightHouse festivities including on-site DJs, children’s entertainment and special appearances by Billy & Lilly the BrightHouse bears.

But far from resting on our laurels, we’ve got another four store openings planned in the coming weeks – in Hereford, Openshaw, Pontypool and Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Xbox 360

The Xbox 360 is one of the most popular and advanced consoles on the market, with superior graphics, wireless controls and 250GB of hard-disk space to store all your favourite games and media.Built-in Wi Fi allows you to access expanded content and play against other gamers, but it’s worth bearing in mind that many of these options require additional fees. Nintendo WII

A Samsung Galaxy Ace Smartphone

The mobile phone certainly has come a long way in recent years. Back in the early 00s a phone that included a simple calculator and stopwatch was considered the height of sophistication, and the graphics looked like the old Atari computers we used to play with in the 80s. Nowadays, a smartphone can perform a huge range of functions – you can listen to music, connect to the internet on the go, capture high-quality photos and videos and download a variety of games and apps.

The only downside of all this new technology is that it doesn’t come cheap, and if you’ve got teenage kids, chances are the latest smartphones are going to be near the top of their birthday wish lists! The best place to find great deals is almost always the internet. Many companies promote special offers online that you won’t find in-store, so always take a look at the website before you hit the shop. Some stores also charge lower prices online than they do in store, which can save you a small fortune if you have time to order in advance. Just keep an eye out for postage costs!

There are also websites that specialise in collecting money-saving vouchers. You can save on anything from clothes and cosmetics to restaurant meals and holidays. Some of my favourites include Vouchercodes and Quidco. If you have an iPhone you can also download an app that sends you all the latest vouchers for your favourite stores.

Finally, if you need to travel on public transport, you can get cheaper tickets by booking early. This is particularly useful for booking trains, flights and coaches, where you can often save up to 50% if you book 5-10 weeks in advance – so it pays to plan ahead!

Well that’s another year gone by here at BrightHouse Blog and boy hasn’t it gone quickly! I don’t know about you but since the snow at the beinning of the year it’s just rushed past. I think it was the slow start because of the snow and not being able to get to work for a couple of days.

In the last year we’ve seen some wonderful new products from BrightHouse in pretty much every department…

… whether it was big appliances, (and those lovely small appliances nearer to this holiday season), TV’s (were Smart Tv’s new this year?!), music, mobile phones, furniture and computers & gaming.

And at BrightHouse they’ve had loads of new stores and a great new website and things have moved along as they continue to be the UK’s number one weekly payment store chain – by a long way! And who knows waht they have in store for next year??!!  More stores for more British towns for starters! That’ll be good for loads of new customers who can then shop or their homes and families on easy to budget for weekly payments.
