There were three days of celebrations leading up to the grand opening on Saturday 14^th January, including a DJ, face painting, balloon modellers and a special appearance by Billy & Lilly  the BrightHouse bears to keep the kids entertained, while the adults browsed through a host of fantastic opening offers on our leading brands. .

The store is located in Caerphilly’s bustling Castle Court retail district, just two miles outside Cardiff North. So whether you’re visiting local tourist spot Caerphilly Castle or just doing your weekly shop, why not pop in and take a look around?

We’ve got a number of store openings planned up and down the country in 2012. Watch out for new stores in Alfreton, Arbroath, Musselburgh and Newbury in the next few months.

Well that’s another year gone by here at BrightHouse Blog and boy hasn’t it gone quickly! I don’t know about you but since the snow at the beinning of the year it’s just rushed past. I think it was the slow start because of the snow and not being able to get to work for a couple of days.

In the last year we’ve seen some wonderful new products from BrightHouse in pretty much every department…

… whether it was big appliances, (and those lovely small appliances nearer to this holiday season), TV’s (were Smart Tv’s new this year?!), music, mobile phones, furniture and computers & gaming.

And at BrightHouse they’ve had loads of new stores and a great new website and things have moved along as they continue to be the UK’s number one weekly payment store chain – by a long way! And who knows waht they have in store for next year??!!  More stores for more British towns for starters! That’ll be good for loads of new customers who can then shop or their homes and families on easy to budget for weekly payments.

I’ve just noticed that the new Bright House website has separate pages for Computing and for Laptops and within the first – computing – there’s a new procuct that I hadn’t seen before which you can now get at BrightHouse on easy weekly payments – and that’s the colour printer/scanner/copier from Kodak. And who doesn’t need one of these today. (I could have kicked myself at home last week when I didn’t have a scanner! My old printer doesn’t scan and it doesn’t copy… Grrrh!)

There’s a very full dscription of just how good this lovely handy machine is on the Kodak website but for now let me quote what they say about it…

I never got to show you the other small appliances in BrightHouse Christmas Gifts range, last time. There were so many that I didn’t see these ones at the bottom of the page! Ooops.

Like the previous selection these gift ideas at BrightHouse are all from well known brands – this time PHIPILS and Babyliss. This time they’re grooming products – two of the four for men. Poor dears they do need [a] decent Xmas presents and [b], the ones I know, grooming! And I suppose if your fella wants straight hair – or curls – they can have the other two as well!

As you’d expect from these great makers, the things themselves look like the DB’s. The two for the man in your life are right up there in the stylish design category – especailly that razor in  my mind.

That comment about curlers and straighteners makes me wonder about using them both together. That would be curious wouldn’t it! You could have very straight hair half way down at which point it becomes very curly. That might just work! The other way around – very curly hair half way down and then straight wouldn’t work at all though, I reckon.

Anyway enough of my fantasy hairdressing – you choose what you wish! They’re all of course on BrightHouse’s easy weekly credit payments, to help you budget at this time of year. OK! Great! OMG! We all know what you can usually get at BrightHouse stores – all the great stuff we’ve seen on BrightHouse Blog over the last years… computers, mobile phones, gaming packages, furniture, kitchen appliances, TVs and DVD and hi-fi – what have I missed?! All good stuff but “BIG” yeah?

How can BrightHouse help now once again we’re all getting used to the long evenings after the clocks have gone back and now that we’ve had Halloween and Guy Fawkes?  I guess that Xmas is the next thing to look forward to. At least the weather this year hasn’t been quite as horrid as November can be  so I’m avoiding getting low – and of course I do like to keep my pecker up (so to speak) and look forward to good things to come.
