Is your mattress giving you sleepless nights?

Westbury-316-x-311Do you ever wake up in the morning with a stiff neck or an aching back? Most people suffer from this at one time or another, and many adults simply assume it’s a natural part of getting older. But in many cases, muscle pain could be easily prevented by replacing a worn out or inadequate mattress.

The ideal mattress should give your body firm, targeted support. However, as they get older a lot of mattresses become soft as the springs wear out. This puts a strain on your muscles and causes the familiar aches and pains that we feel when we wake up after a night’s sleep.

Unfortunately, if you’re working hard to balance a household budget, the expense of replacing your mattress all too often means it gets pushed to the back of your mind – causing months and sometimes years of unnecessary discomfort. Thankfully BrightHouse can help you to get the night-time support you need, when you need it for as little as £5.49 per week.

BrightHouse Azure Comfort Mattresses are available in single, double and king size, all specially designed with quilted polyester fillings and 40% more springs than traditional models, to ensure long lasting, head-to-toe support all night long. They also stock deluxe memory foam mattresses from Westbury which mould to the contours of your body to relieve pressure and promote good circulation. Invest in one of these and you’ll wonder how you ever got through the night without it!

More new stores open for business!

BrightHouseHere at BrightHouse we’re on a mission to become the local pay weekly store for everyone in the UK – and this year we’re getting closer than ever to that goal with several store openings up and down the country.

Hot on the heels of our grand opening in Caerphilly, South Wales in January, we’ve launched an amazing four new stores in the past three months, with even more on the way very soon!

If you’re a resident of Alfreton, Arbroath, Musselburgh, or Newbury you can now find a brand new BrightHouse store in your local shopping district. The grand openings of these stores featured the usual BrightHouse festivities including on-site DJs, children’s entertainment and special appearances by Billy & Lilly the BrightHouse bears.

But far from resting on our laurels, we’ve got another four store openings planned in the coming weeks – in Hereford, Openshaw, Pontypool and Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

You can find all the contact details and opening hours for our latest stores by using the store locator tool on the official BrightHouse website. We’ll also be bringing you updates on further store openings throughout the year, so keep checking back for all the info. New stores need staff too, so if you’re interested in joining the BrightHouse family, keep an eye on our careers homepage.

Have you joined the Smartphone Generation?

A Samsung Galaxy Ace Smartphone

A Samsung Galaxy Ace Smartphone

The mobile phone certainly has come a long way in recent years. Back in the early 00s a phone that included a simple calculator and stopwatch was considered the height of sophistication, and the graphics looked like the old Atari computers we used to play with in the 80s. Nowadays, a smartphone can perform a huge range of functions – you can listen to music, connect to the internet on the go, capture high-quality photos and videos and download a variety of games and apps.

The only downside of all this new technology is that it doesn’t come cheap, and if you’ve got teenage kids, chances are the latest smartphones are going to be near the top of their birthday wish lists! Thankfully at BrightHouse you can pick up a brand new Blackberry or Samsung Gallery Smartphone for as little as £6.49 per month.

You can take a look at the latest deals on our mobile phones product page. We’re frequently adding new models, so keep checking back to avoid missing out. Our pay as you go deals with Vodaphone allow you to take advantage of a range of extras, including free texts, extra minutes and web access, without paying for any more than you can afford – perfect if your children have a habit of making long phone calls first and worrying about the cost later!
